AALIA Restaurant Sydney

Absolutely stunning food here. Every dish we ordered looks deceptively simple but delivered exceptional flavour and texture. Don’t miss the labneh, grilled prawn, Murray cod. The cocktails are fab and the staff were very accomodating and made our experience memorable.

Went to Aalia for a birthday lunch and everybody was extremely warm and friendly and made us welcome. Food was delicious, bold flavours that were always well balanced, great textures, and a wonderful variety on the menu. Share plates all a perfect size and the staff were always willing to offer helpful suggestions.

My first dining experience at Aalia and I was more than impressed. This restaurant has it all. The ambiance; location; vibe; exceptional wait staff; mouthwatering food and of course an impeccable wine list. I could not fault anything! Aalia has definitely set a high standard in the hospitality industry and is without a doubt one of my favourite restaurants. Special mention to our waiter Francesco who provided a flawless service.

Overrated. Middleton Eastern restaurant.. Absolutely Not! One of the worst places we have eaten at and yes we did eat most of the meals we came starving and we left starving. I asked the waitress Please make sure my fries are 'lightly cooked' maybe the Chef didn't know how to read 'lightly cooked'. Don't let the pics fool you I'm a good photographer :) Highly NOT recommended.

We enjoyed my birthday celebration at Aalia and had a wonderful evening. If I could give 4.5, I would. Our server, Allie, was attentive, efficient and friendly as the food overall was very good. The labneh was fantastic as was the lamb and cuttlefish. A meal for two with two glasses of sparkling and two glasses of red came to over $300. Alcohol seemed especially pricey (glass of sparkling was min$24). Still, I'd recommend. We had a really enjoyable evening.

A friend suggested Aalia as he had dined here a few times, I live in Melbourne and wouldn't have thought to go to Martin Place for dinner. I was not disappointed. I'm still thinking about the incredibly delicate Sea Urchin that we started with. The desserts were delicious and not too sweet. The cocktails were on point and the service was fast and friendly. We ate more than I photographed. This was a well crafted menu of fantastic flavors and I will be returning.

Wow wow wow and just wow! Every dish is perfection. We went there for a dinner. My expectations were exceeded. The food is perfection and the staff are just so warm and lovely. I can’t wait to have another dinner there anytime soon. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening!!!

Great experience dining at Aalia! Our waiter Anil was great and made our night so special. We liked all the food and drinks he recommended. Very attentive service. The food was excellent. The deserts were definitely a highlight for me.

We absolutely loved this place. The food was a sensation for the tastebuds. Everything was prepared to the highest of standards. Unfortunately because of the popularity it was so busy and noisy. The service was good however with the noise and the very strong accent it was difficult to understand our waiter but we worked through it and had a fabulous time. The must try’s are the beef nayeh, labneh (eat with the green leaves), duck and eggplant. If you skip these you are missing the best of the menu. Oh and the cocktails and mocktails are 5star! After I recommend a relax in the lounge by the water and some gelato from next door.
