One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Most of the staff were clueless. Selected this restaurant to have a special experience for a birthday party. We selected the $198 set menu and there was 12 of us. 2 tables. DONT SELECT SET MENU. Food at best was average. Ribs where served 4 plates for 12 people, one plate was very small and at most it was a sampler size for each person, also worst cut of rib I’ve ever had, it contains fat chunks in dressing that was horrible. The pesto was good however a little chewy. We ordered martinis which was served in the smallest glass which were more like shots rather than a martini, $33 a martini wow!, we spent $3500 plus for 12 people. The portions were very small in all cases, some of us went home very hungry. We ordered cake and they wouldn’t even cut normal portion of cake for each person, even though we had pre purchased the cake $300, paid $25 apiece for everybody. Cut your own cake do not let them cut the cake they rely on you not taking the cake home. My friend had also experience this last week where they saw their cake being offered to other tables.

Came with a friend and was greeted by great service. They took my coat and talked us through the menu. Service all round was impeccable. We ordered the following - Moreton bay bug pasta (1/5). Both the pasta and bug that sat ontop was so salty it was close to inedible. Me and my friend were reaching for a sip of water after every mouthful. Disappointing as this was $79 - pesto pasta (4/5). This was their signature from the reviews. They prepare the pesto infront of you and albeit being a simple dish, it was delicious. However as there was nothing other than pasta and sauce, I couldn’t justify the $30+ price tag. Fine dining or not. - snapper crudo (3/5). creamy yellow dressing over fresh sliced snapper. Light and refreshing $29 Overall, the portions for the price were very small and none of the dishes were unique and generous enough for me to return. The bug pasta was especially a bit let down. The excellent service won this venue an extra star otherwise it would’ve been a 2/5.

The pasta was a bit salty in my opinion but overall the food was very nice and the customer service was just as good

Dined here for a work Christmas lunch. Service was very good - professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Amazing and extensive selection of Italian wines on offer. We had the set menu and they accommodated a couple of us with dietary requirements really well. Food was definitely above average and beautifully presented. Standout dishes for me were the pesto pasta, with the pesto made by hand at the table and also the Tiramisu. My only criticism is prices are a bit high for rustic Italian food.

Terrible food, and taste not fresh. All the seafood had strong fishy tasting. The worest part is the truffle pasta which I was expected so much! However, it’s freaking salty and I left most of them on the plate.when I told the waitress too salty she just took the plate away and said “ok”. I wasn’t trust the review before, blame on me.

Service from a few waiters was excellent, however we felt pushed to buy more food, and add ons. Almost felt like salesmen trying push products on us. Whilst this is a fine dining experience, we are aware of price ranges, and we thoroughly enjoy experiencing luxury. However, this restaurant is excessively overpriced. The Morton Bay Bug Spaghettini was way too fishy for our palette, and we could not finish the dish- it was priced at $79.00. Our below average wine was $40 for a glass. And our small Tiramisu serving was $22.00 we had an Affogato with Frangelico priced at $26.00! The positives: The Focaccia starter was delicious with the best Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar we have ever tasted, and the Tiramisu tasted phenomenal. Overall, way too overpriced and we walked away feeling it wasn't even close to worth it & we wasted our money, wishing we went somewhere else. Such a shame, we really wanted to enjoy our dining experience. Disappointed

I came here for my birthday and loved it. We loved their pastas and kids menu items. However, I would say the food is pretty overpriced for what you get.

Overall pleasant dinner. Great service, food was pretty good - not the best Italian in the city though. Decent portion but a little on the pricey side, expected for where it is. Love the food prep at the table. Pesto trofie pasta and scallop and scampi gratin were good but nothing to rave about.

The pesto pasta was made table-side, which smelled wonderful and the texture of pasta was perfect. However, most dishes were very salty. There were not enough waiting staff. I also noticed that the spoon used by chef for tasting check was not replaced, but left in a tub mixed with other utensils for plating.

Food tasty but small portions and expensive - poor value for what you get. Staff very friendly and accommodating but the service was very slow when we visited. We were swamped around tables with kids and parents who didn’t seem to care what they did, which made the environment very noisy and unenjoyable to eat around. Glad we tried it, as it’s lovely to eat on the bay, but doubt I’d go back.
