Booked a weekend lun...

Booked a weekend lunch because we were craving some good seafood, and Fish at the Rocks did not disappoint! Very cozy restaurant, friendly, non over bearing service and most importantly just spot on seafood. From the prawn tempura, to miso salmon and the seafood broth, there was nothing crazy out of the box but everything was immaculately executed. Safe to say we got our seafood fix and had a fantastic weekend to a large part thanks to the awesome meal.

We had a great meal (yummy bay bugs!) with a fantastic bottle of Australian chardonnay (!) only topped by the warm hospitality of the host and the staff. Highly recommended!

Best Morton Bay Bugs...

Best Morton Bay Bugs ever! We ate them here for the first time in December 2019 and on 12/30/2022 they were delicious again. Fish cuisine at its best and the desserts fantastic. Unfortunately, the journey from Germany is too time-consuming to dine here more often.

Customer service is...

Customer service is friendly and welcoming... The entrees and steamed vegetables were delish! AND The best fish and chips I've eaten in years! Highly recommend :)

Fresh Australian sea...

Fresh Australian seafood impressively prepared and presented has made the restaurant a long-time favourite of locals and visitors even though prices were at the higher end. A smallish dining room often fully seated was the only discomfort.

My aunt and I had lu...

My aunt and I had lunch here. For appetizer, I had the tiger prawns grilled on crispy tofu. I would rate it a 8/10 For main, I had the Tasmanian Salmon fillet grilled with yellow malaysian coconut vegetable curry and steamed jasmine rice. It was an interesting combo! Very filling. I didn't eat the rice and there were a lot of veggies. I didn't like it personally. Would rate it 6/10. Really good presentation though! Overall great service and nice location.

Had a great lunch as a group of three, food was fresh and expertly cooked, a tasty delight. Wait person said sourced from Sydney Fish market this morning, was able to say where Kingfish was sourced from. Our food included. Our dishes included grilled scallop, $25, grilled squid, $25, baked baby barramundi stuffed, $45, (Exceptional), Hiroshima Kingfish, $46, Apple & Rhubarb Crumble, $17 and chocolate ganache mousse, In May 2023

One of our favourite...

One of our favourite dining experiences this year. Smooth friendly service, fabulous food and drink. We had the oysters, crab cakes, scampi and scallops. We shared it all and would have it all again. Lovely setting upstairs on the first floor. Thank you.

We had not been to fish at the rocks for about 5 years. We were not disappointed as the food was delicious, staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was just right great table at the front window. This was definitely great value for the portions received and the trio of sorbets were absolutely to die for. We will be back ! Tony Mangioni

A great place! I had barramundi as everyone has recommended. They were also happy to give me extra rice. The portion size was great, and the fish was tasty!
